What is ESIC Registration?
The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) is a statutory body under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India. ESIC provides social security and health insurance to Indian workers. Businesses with 10 or more employees (in some states 20) and whose wages do not exceed ₹21,000 per month must register under the ESI Act, 1948.
ESIC registration is not just a compliance obligation — it’s a commitment to the well-being and security of your workforce. It covers a range of medical, maternity, disability, and dependent benefits to employees and their families, offering much-needed financial protection in emergencies.
